The first of our two North Carolina clinics, established in Morganton in 1990, has served children from Burke county as well as the communities of Boone, Asheville, Charlotte, Hickory, Lenoir, Marion, Rutherfordton, Shelby, Statesville, Taylorsville, Tryon and Winston-Salem. In 2003, we added a second clinic in Boone, NC. And 2009, we added a third clinic in Marion, NC.
Our Morganton clinic is a unique, 7,500 sq. ft. space that is custom designed to provide opportunities for a symphony of activites. To the delight of children and many adults, our clinic includes platforms, high and low tunnels, mattress and mat-covered floors, mounds of pillows and crash pads, swings, trapeze bars, tire tubes, elevated surfaces, and a
climbing dome. Our Marion clinic offers many of the same attributes.
Our facilites are designed to address the unique challenges of Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD) of visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, oral and movement defensiveness that effect coordination and praxis (motor planning). In addition,
our clinics meet the needs of children with neuromotor challenges such as Cerebral Palsy.
